Hope all is going well with you and you’re enjoying your summer.
Sorry for the sudden pause in the fourth series of this podcast. Unfortunately the last six weeks or so real-life intervened and it has frankly been the most stressful time to date. Moving accommodation and other factors have taken all of my energy away from the podcast. I’ve written a little bit about it for my blog.
It’s safe to say that I don’t want a repeat occurrence of this in the near future.
However I am glad to say I’m getting back on track and series four will resume from the 17th of September.
Well numerous reasons.
Firstly the series was originally planned to run from June until October which included several Edinburgh Fringe themed shows during August. Which means that much of the series running order had to be spiked, especially the Edinburgh Fringe which I’m really gutted about.
So the series will resume from the 17th of September and run until the end of this year with the season finale being the best of 2017 show on the 31st of December.
Secondly, the running order now has to be redrawn but it now gives me an opportunity to batch produce material in time for its return. Especially when stability has now returned. In fact of this weekend I’ll be determining this revised running order and getting to work on production from next week.
Thirdly, in order to return content needs to be ready and good content takes time to produce. Mediocre and rushed content doesn’t cut it frankly.
While the podcast is off air I will also be looking into expanding the podcast’s exposure to other platforms and optimise it’s appearance for podcast directories, particularly Apple Podcasts.
Mark 17th of September in your diary and I’ll speak to you then.
